Jameson Whiskey

The challenge

Jameson Whiskey wanted to create an experiential event that could reinforce both their love of cinema and the family motto, Sine Metu; which means* “Fear a bit less, live a bit more.”

The solution

We made them an offer they couldn’t refuse…

An immersive film quiz, where we take a bar from an iconic film and populate it with props, characters and nods to other movies. Then we let guests come, enjoy some smooth whiskey, and see how many they can guess.

But we have some strict criteria for the films we include. They couldn’t be overly obscure or pretentious. Because we didn’t want anyone to feel afraid they wouldn’t belong there, or wouldn’t be smart enough.

Strictly films we know we love, not ones we think we should. And if people don’t like it… Well. Frankly, my dear, we don’t give a damn.

The result

This project is still on-going – but we do know we’re into the next round of pitching.

We can’t say much more though. As the first rule of pitching is you never talk about pitching. 

*It doesn't actually mean this. The Latin translates as: Without Fear. But this isn't consumer friendly... So some clever strategy folks devised the tagline you see above.
